To create One-To-Many work orders, the same process would be followed by selecting the Cogs icon for each WO required and the system will generate the next sequenced WO number i.e. WO0094-2, WO0094-3 etc which will all. Be linked to the originating SR. Each time the same data will be transferred onto each WO created.
The user would make relevant changes to each as required. In this situation, you might need multiple trades to go and do their relevant work to complete the job. i.e. A plumber to fix the leak, a builder to make good, a decorator to paint and a cleaner to tidy up. The user will update each work order to have the relevant details amended such as Category, description of work required, supplier assigned to and may be when they need to attend site to complete their tasks, as you would not have the builder go in before the plumber has made safe and fixed the leak. The SR will not be resolved until the last WO has been completed. The statuses are updated automatically dependant on the WF progress on the WO.

As Service Requests are the initial request from the client /onsite user, if work is required to resolve the issue, then the Help Desk will create linked Work orders. SRs can have a one-to-one or a one-to-many relationship as far a work orders are concerned. This is because one issue may require many trades to complete the tasks. So, a Work order for each task would be created and the SR will not be resolved as complete until all the Work orders have been completed
Linked Work orders on an SR can be seen on the Work Orders tab as shown below. As you can see this SR has 3 linked Work orders. The user can access each Work order record via the Hyper Link Work Order number. Self-Serve users will not have access to view WOs.
