RAG
The RAG column is showing the RAG details set up from the Admin Tool and the black indicator that is pointing to the current state of the metric.
Trend
Trend is highlighting when potentially a metric may reach its trigger to the tolerance. Trend is calculated based on the percentage change between the last two results using below formula:
(((latest result – previous result)/previous result) x 100)/number of months between results = Monthly Percentage Change (MPC)
Each metric is showing positive/negative trend icon based on the % change result (if it's positive or negative) and the Trend Direction setting within the metric.
One of five icons will be shown:
- Positive increase
- Positive decrease
- Negative increase
- Negative decrease
- No Change
Forecast
The forecast column is showing when the metric is expected to change into a new RAG. For example, it will tell the user that the metric of Appetite (Green) state will hit its Trigger (Amber) in 4 months if it carries on at its current rate.
The Forecast is calculated by applying the Monthly Percentage Change (MPC), to the latest submitted figure and continuously adding it until the Metric RAG changes. This will give the number of months until a metric changes from its current RAG to a new one.
Actions
The actions column is showing the number of open actions raised against the metric. If there are any overdue actions, the number will be highlighted in red to indicate it. To add new action click on the plus icon situated within the the Action column.
Clicking on the Action's number, popup window will open showing all the actions against the metrics ordered by open/closed status, then by due date, with soonest being first.
