This is where you will create the Risk Matrix.
The I (Currently on the 3 Local/Likely) refers to the Inherent risk, this depicts the posed risk in its infancy. The Impact and Likelihood have to be selected under the Inherent Assessment band below the matrix. Once the Inherent assessment is completed and saved, the score will be greyed out and you will not be able to change it.
The R (Currently on the 6 Major/Possible) is the Residual Assessment, this depicts the status of the risk after any control measures or other considerations have been put in place. This status can constantly change at any stage. Selected Impact, Likelihood and score will display on Summary page. Also, the Risk Movement will be updated after the residual assessment score is established.
Above the Residual Assessment you have the option to add Related Controls; simply click the checkbox next to each Control that you want to link then click Save.
As well as displaying the current risk rating the matrix can also display a three and six month forecast for the predicted risk rating. To add the forecast simply click on the rating which you believe will depict the risk in 3/6 months time; this will open the box shown below.
This will label the box with a 3 or a 6 to display the forecast; the forecast ratings can be changed at any point by selecting a different rating and setting a forecast.
The Notes widget allows you to add notes against the Risk stage. To add a new note click on Add Note; this will open the box shown below.
From here you can add a title to your note and categorise it by type; simply type your note into the text box and click Save.
After saving, your Note will appear in the Notes console. From here you can View , Edit or Delete the Note by clicking on the appropriate button next to the note.
From the Assess page you can also assign a Team to be responsible for the Risk stage; click the check box next to the team(s) that you want to add and click Apply.
Related Controls, Notes and Assigned Teams can all be filtered by using the button next to each column header; for more information on this function see Filters. Information can also be grouped by dragging the appropriate column header into the bar above the console. Each widget can be Collapsed or expanded to Fullscreen using the and buttons respectively.
